Maternity Portraits

There's something so beautiful about maternity portraits. The soft curve of a pregnant belly, the glow of growing a new life. Maternity photos are some of my favorite types of portraits to take. On Long Island, there are so many outdoor locations we can use, you have the choice of a beach, park, or garden, or we can do them in the comfort of your own home. Lifestyle portraits are always fun and capture the now, we get photos in the baby's nursery, where we can capture all those special keepsakes that were so carefully chosen. If lifestyle isn't your thing, and that is okay, I bring a backdrop and setup. I try to keep it simple and easy and what is going to make you most comfortable. Typically I do maternity portraits at about 33-35 weeks, at this point you are not so uncomfortable and still okay to get into poses.

Whether you choose to print them or hold on to them, all digital files are included with your booked session. I do offer prints and albums or I can recommend some labs that will print your photos beautifully.

This gorgeous mama chose to do her maternity portraits in her home in a more intimate setting. They came out gorgeous! She had an outfit change and we were able to capture some gorgeous photos of her pregnancy. We have portraits of her alone and her with her boys. I was so excited to take her newborn portraits as well, I love meeting the sweet babies after a maternity session. She is a mom of all boys and they were all so sweet!
