Sweet Baby Boy No. 4 – In-Home Newborn Session in Farmingdale, Long Island

This little guy was truly the cherry on top of an already loving family. I recently had the honor of photographing his newborn session right in their Farmingdale home, and let me tell you, he was an absolute dream.

He slept soundly through every pose, every wrap, every gentle moment we styled. As a traveling newborn photographer on Long Island, I’ve seen plenty of sleepy babies, but this sweet boy made my job feel effortless. With years of experience and a calming touch, I tailor each session to match the baby’s rhythm.

Being invited into a client’s home is always a privilege, but it’s especially meaningful when I’ve photographed a family more than once. I actually just captured his first birthday cake smash not long ago (yes, I’m playing catch-up on the blog, real life, right?). It’s wild how fast that first year flies. One day, you’re cradling a swaddled newborn, and the next, you’re watching them gleefully dive into a cake!

These are the kinds of moments that make this job feel like storytelling in real time. The newborn stage is fleeting, and being able to document it, right in your own home, where your baby will grow, is something truly special.
