Gina Marie Photography is located in central Long Island and provides on-location photo sessions to illustrate your story from maternity portraits, newborn photo shoots, and cake smash photography, to family portraits and select events. We service all of Long Island including Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island. Newborn and maternity photography is our specialty but we do all aspects of child and family photography. We will help you customize an affordable photography package so you can capture the memories you want of your newborn and family.

About me

When I look at the photos I have taken, I see not just an image of the person, but a glimpse into their true self; and I can feel that moment.  I want you to look back on your photos and feel the bliss of that moment forever.  My happy place is where the beauty and soul of art meet the modern miracles of technology.    Academically that resulted in a BFA in Graphic Design and a successful career in the field.  But in my private life, it meant an obsession with creating photos that perfectly captured my family and their world.  The next thing I knew, friends, coworkers, and neighbors were all oohing and aahing over the photos, and asking me to photograph their infants, playing children, pregnancies, and families.  Once their friends, coworkers, and neighbors started requesting me as well, I knew I had the makings of another fun and fulfilling career.  Now I get to spend my weekends and evenings helping families capture precious memories in an authentic way.  No stiff poses and forced smiles!  Because I go to whatever location my clients choose, they can feel comfortable in their environment, and I can focus my talents on bringing out the true essence of each person I photograph.  My joy is capturing the perfect fleeting moment, the mischievous look and giggle of a child, the graceful curve of an expectant mother’s belly, the gentleness in a father’s big hands as he holds his newborn child, and the tenderness of real love.
