When Should You Book Newborn Photos on Long Island?

A question that comes up often during pregnancy is when to book newborn photos. With so many things happening at once, it’s easy to wonder when the timing actually makes sense.

Most families reach out during the second or early third trimester. Booking ahead allows space around your due date and takes one more thing off your plate once your baby arrives.

I also hear from plenty of moms once their baby has already arrived, sometimes when they’re a week old or so. If that’s where you’re at, that's totally fine as well! I will do my best to schedule a date for you!

Newborn photos are typically taken within the first few weeks after birth, but exact timing can be flexible. In-home newborn sessions allow for a more relaxed schedule, especially if your baby arrives earlier or later than expected.
